Celebrations at the Bay Wedding

Liz and Dennis were married at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, Maryland in October of 2022. Family and friends gathered from near and far to see these two tie the knot in the most beautiful setting. As an Annapolis wedding photographer, I love photographing at wedding venues on the water.

I had already photographed their engagement session at Quiet Waters Park, located along the South River. I knew how in love they were and was excited to capture their wedding.

These two prepared for the big day at the BWI Hotel in Linthicum, MD, surrounded by their closest family and friends. I even learned how to play flip cup from her college friends whom she selected as her bridesmaids. They were such a fun group of ladies!

Liz and Dennis travelled to Celebrations at the Bay for their wedding after getting ready at the hotel. We planned a first look on the dock at the venue. It was beautfiul. As a wedding photographer, I love arranging first looks. It’s a great way to add more couples photographs to my clients’ wedding gallery.

After the first look, we did family formals in a lovely outdoor space with perfect lighting. Family formals are such an important part of the wedding day. Everyone is looking their best and it captures the sheer joy everyone is feeling about the lovely couple getting married. Then, we did bridal party photos at this same location.

Liz and Dennis looked radiant under the golden sunlight. It was the perfect time to capture how gorgeous they looked for their wedding day!

The reception area was ready to be photographed next. Liz’s brother and sister-in-law flew from California to help with planning this beautiful wedding and it was perfection. Mariposa Events Co. did not dissapoint! From the lush florals at every turn, to the signage and table decor, it was absolutely gorgeous and a delight to capture on my camera.

This lovely waterfront venue has an outdoor ceremony space overlooking the Patapsco River. Liz and Dennis said their vows in a beautiful ceremony witnessed by their family and closest friends.

We ventured to the pier for couples photos after the ceremony. It was magical. The light was warm and perfect, and the love these two share was palpable.

With the sun setting, we took off for the reception. Everyone was ready to eat good food and let loose on the dance floor.

I loved meeting Liz, Dennis and their loved ones at their Celebrations at the Bay wedding. It is clear that these two amazing people were meant to be together; destined to fall in love and make a life together.

As an Annapolis weding photographer, capturing a wedding is a truly humbling experience. I do my very best each and every time I photograph a wedding, I know how important photographs from that day are and will be for years to come.
